Cross Border OL Capitalization Project
URI organized a conference in Berat, dedicated to Ancient Olive Orchards in the area, with the aim of sharing the knowledge and expertise gained through the Cross Border OL project. This project aimed to promote sustainable and high-quality olive oil production in the region, by identifying and promoting best practices.
During the conference, participants were presented with a range of good practices that have been identified in the Preza, Marikaj, and Ndroq areas. These practices were designed to ensure that the olive oil produced in the region is of the highest quality and is produced sustainably. Through these presentations, more than 50 participants had the opportunity to learn about the best national and regional practices for olive oil production.
The workshop provided an opportunity for olive oil producers, experts, and enthusiasts to come together and share their experiences and knowledge. The discussions and presentations focused on the importance of preserving the ancient olive orchards of the region, which have been cultivated for centuries and represent an important cultural and historical heritage.
Overall, the workshop was a valuable opportunity for participants to learn about the best practices for olive oil production in the area, to share their experiences and knowledge, and to contribute to the sustainable development of the region.
