Advocacy for More Rural Budget Allocation- Study Research
Albania has a huge potential to develop of a modern and competitive agriculture sector, provided the right policy environment and state support encourages private investments in the sector. This project aimed to analyze the current situation through a country-wide research study, which looked at legal frameworks, historical and recent data on the development of the agricultural sector, budget allocation trends and new changes reflected in the budget process. The project’s findings provided a set of recommendations for improvements in budget design and implementation in rural areas.
